1. Who we are
This website (www.relip-ect.com) belongs to ReLiP-ECT – Research Literacy in Practice: Tracking and Supporting Early Career Teachers, a Nordplus-funded project of universities and schools in the Nordic and Baltic countries. 2. What personal data we collect
- Registration for the Partners-Only space: first and last name, username, email address and password (stored encrypted). Registrations are reviewed and approved manually by the project team.
- Use of the learning platform and forum: courses you join, your progress, quiz answers, assignments, messages and forum posts you choose to share.
- Emails: when we send you account or course messages, we process your name and email address.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information in server logs, kept for security purposes.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To provide your account, courses and community features — performance of the service you requested (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To run, secure and evaluate the project and report to the funder — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Non-essential cookies (for example statistics) — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie banner.
4. Who processes the data for us
- Natro / team.blue (Türkiye) – web hosting and the email service used to send messages.
- Cloudflare, Inc. – security and content delivery network.
Some of these providers process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
Account data is kept for as long as you have an account and at the latest until two years after the end of the project. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Rejected registrations are deleted immediately.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent. Contact us at the address above to use these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
